Ethiopia Award’s Companies for Quality Service, Products

Addis Ababa October 25/2017 Ethiopian quality award ceremony (EQA) was held for the fifth time on Tuesday in Addis Ababa. A total of 63 companies drawn from various government and private sectors competed for the awards.

 The first level National Quality Excellence award goes to the International Clinical Laboratories, Harar Brewery and Gondar University.

 The International Clinical Laboratories, which took the award for the third time in a row, was selected from the health sector for serving in high quality.

 Gondar University, which took the award for the second time in a row, won the award for its educational contributions and research activities.

 Harar Brewery from the manufacturing sector took the award in view of its contributions in producing quality level beer that distributes across the country.

 The trophies were awarded to the winners in the presence of President Dr. Mulatu Teshome, who is the guardian of the Ethiopian Quality Award (EQA) organization, organizer of the award.

 President Mulatu urging the occasion congratulated the winners and reminded the participants to thrive to improve quality of goods and services and enhance the economy of the country.

 Some 63 companies engaged in health, construction, manufacturing, and higher education among others, competed for the awards in seven categories.

 So far, more than 280 companies participated and 90 companies won the awards in several sectors.
